National Economic Impact Study

We encourage you to complete the survey by visiting https://innovationgroup.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3vYF8VMW0kq6b1H.

Thank you if you have taken the time to complete the survey.

The horse industry is a strong and vibrant part of California and the United States economy. According to the 2005 American Horse Council Economic Study, the 698,000 horses in California produce a total economic impact valued at approximately $7.0 billion and generate a total of 130,200 total jobs. This type of economic survey data is critical as it highlights the importance of the equine industry and the economic significance of such an industry. Additionally, this data is extremely beneficial for promoting and protecting the equine industry in California.

The American Horse Council is launching its’ 2017 National Economic Impact Study to update this data. The 2017 Study will include expanded demographics with youth participation and additional segments of the industry such as Equine Events, Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies, Equine Sanctuaries and Rescues, Equine Academic Programs and Equine Youth Organizations.

We urge you to take the time to visit the following link and complete the survey. https://innovationgroup.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3vYF8VMW0kq6b1H

Your time and assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Katie
